Vardan Amaryan


Vardan Amaryan is a highly experienced investment manager with over 15 years of experience by managing the assets of several reputable institutions. Vardan Amaryan holds an Executive MBA from the prestigious Moscow School of Management, SKOLKOVO, which he obtained in 2015. Before that, he studied International Economics and Management at Saratov State Socio-Economic University in Russia.

Vardan’s professional journey began in 2005 when he started working in asset management for Troika Dialog in Moscow, Russia. After gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge in investment management, he co-founded Balchug Capital in 2009. He served as the Chief Operating Officer there, significantly contributing to the company’s growth for over a decade until 2023. In 2022, Vardan founded his investment firm, Apricot Capital, in Yerevan, Armenia. As the founder of Apricot Capital, he has continued demonstrating his investment management expertise.

Vardan is fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian. He is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys music, sports, and traveling.
