Munir Yakubov is the CEO and Founder of Portfolio Investments LLC, a primary investment company in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a role he has held since 2012. Portfolio Investments specializes in acting as an investment intermediary, advisor, trustee, and depository.

Mr. Yakubov actively contributes as a member of the Supervisory Board of several local companies and holds a position on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Investment Institutions (NAII).

Under Mr. Yakubov’s management, Portfolio Investments LLC has successfully underwritten three notable public offerings (IPO/SPO), marking a significant feat in modern Uzbekistan’s financial landscape. The company currently safeguards securities valued at over $500 million in depositor storage for its clients.

Before establishing Portfolio Investments, Mr. Yakubov gained over 8 years of experience in various senior roles within public and private organizations, fostering invaluable relationships with industry leaders.

With over 15 years of expertise in corporate finance and investment banking in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries, Mr. Yakubov has facilitated numerous transactions for mid-cap companies, achieving substantial financial growth and executing deals on both the sell and buy side.

In 2005, Mr. Yakubov graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent, earning a degree in International Economic Relations.
