Currently, he is the Chairman & Managing Director of Misr for Central Clearing, Depository & Registry (MCDR),

• The Chairman of Makkasa Club from 7th September 2009 up till now.
• The President of the Africa & Middle East Depositories Association.
• The President of world Forum of CSDs (WFC).
• Deputy Chairman of the African Stock Exchanges Association (ASEA).
• Deputy Chairman & Executive Director of the Arab Stock Exchange (ASE).
• Board Member of the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE).
• Board Member of the Information Technology Industry Development Authority (ITIDA).
• He is a member of the Egyptian Computers & Information Technology Association, the Arab Computers & Information Technology Association, the high committee of the National Payment Council and the American Chamber of Commerce.

Previously, he was the chairman of Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE) – 2004-2005 and for six months from March to September 2011.

• He headed the Egyptian French project to establish the automated depository including the DVP system for the Egyptian market.
• He was the Egyptian Stock Exchange information technology consultant,
• He headed the Capital Market Authority (CMA) information technology department.
• The Chairman of Securities Investor Protection Fund (IPF).
