Dr Michael Völter is the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Armenia Securities Exchange OJSC and of the Supervisory Board of the Central Depository of Armenia OJSC..

Dr Michael Völter founded his company Voelter Financial Advisory to be an independent financial advisor and to offer professional services to company board members.

He developed his career in the financial sector, specialising in investment management, insurance and the exchange business. He has gained international experience in corporate governance by being a member of the supervisory boards of numerous companies.

His special interests are strategy, growth, restructuring and post-merger integration in digital companies.

Michael has a PhD in law and worked at Arthur Andersen.

He later became CFO/CIO at SVSparkassenVersicherung and then served as Group CEO at Boerse Stuttgart, the sixth largest stock exchange in Europe.
