Hasmik Ghahramanyan


Hasmik Ghahramanyan is a Board Member of the Central Bank of Armenia. She has a long experience at the Central Bank. Before becoming a Member of the Board in 2019, she was the Chief Advisor to the Governor of the Central bank, following over twenty years of service in different positions in the Monetary Policy Department of the Central Bank. In her role as a non-executive member of the Board Hasmik is engaged in the oversight of the Central Bank activities, policymaking and regulatory framework design for financial institutions. Public policy in the Central bank aims at maintaining monetary and financial stability, which is inseparable from sustainable finance and inclusive growth. Hasmik is leading the sustainable finance agenda at the Central Bank that is currently focused on the process of designing the Sustainable Finance roadmap for the Armenian financial system.

She is holding a Doctoral degree in Economics and is teaching monetary policy at the Yerevan State University.
