Hagen is leading Eric Salmon & Partner’s Global Board and Governance Advisory Practice. He specializes in C-Level Executive and Board/Non-Executive searches across all industry sectors. A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of Non-Executive Board Directors.

He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and has published whitepapers on boards and Blockchain, non-executive directors in technology companies, and on corporate governance in Iran.

Hagen serves on the board of INSEAD’s International Directors Network and the Armenian Institute of Directors (AIOD) in Yerevan, Armenia, and is the Chair of the Advisory Board of “European Women on Boards” (EWOB).

He is the moderator of ecoDA’s European Board Diploma, and a regular guest lecturer at the Armenian Corporate Governance Center and INSEAD’s IN-BOARD initiative. He also serves as President of the regional Oxford Business Alumni chapter.

He is a speaker and panelist for organizations and conference audiences, discussing topics related to corporate governance and board directors, most recently in Belgium, Bulgaria, India, Iran, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey and Armenia.
