In 2019 he was appointed as Deputy chairman of former Antimonopoly Committee and since 2023 he has been holding a position of Deputy Chairman of the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Before his appointment to current position, he has held various mid- and senior management positions at State competition authority, National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPM) and UNDP.
His has 4-year experience as a Member of National Negotiation Groups on accession of Uzbekistan to WTO and on the Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU allows him to be involved in top-notch discussions with high-ranked authorities of member countries including G-20 countries, and has given him substantive expertise and skills in designing trade tools and policies on national, regional and international level, developing solutions to most complicated and controversial issues of international trade facilitation, using of complementarities of competition policy and trade policy and their combined use in support of economic development, with particular reference to WTO covered agreements, application of competition policy vis-à-vis intellectual property rights and government procurement.
Nowadays, he is actively participating in the process of introduction of financial derivatives trading on commodities exchanges and developing Digital Markets Competition rules.
