Alexander Chekanov is a Chief Architect at the National Settlement Depository of Russia. Alexander’s key responsibilities include managing enterprise architecture and leveraging technology in the best way to achieve digital transformation in the CSD business. Alexander is also leading the CSD Working Group on DLT focused on researching how distributed ledger technology may be leveraged for servicing securities and how CSDs can establish themselves on the crypto asset market.

Alexander joined NSD in 2016 as an expert in modern IT solutions and architecture who is also familiar with international securities services. Prior to joining NSD, Alexander worked with a European mutual fund platform as a Head of IT, driving the implementation of a rebate collection product for global clients.
