Omar Radwan is the Executive Chairman of The Egyptian Exchange (EGX), bringing extensive experience across asset management, investment management, wealth management, and risk management. Radwan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a minor in Computer Science, from the American University in Cairo, earned in 1997. Prior to his appointment at EGX, Radwan served as Chief Executive Officer of Wealth Management at Beltone Holding financial, a position he assumed in June 2025. He previously served as Group Chief Risk Officer at CI Capital Holding from October 2022 to March 2024. Between 2018 and 2024, Radwan held a number of senior leadership positions within the investment subsidiaries of Banque Misr, where he contributed to the development and expansion of asset management and investment services, including digital initiatives and the expansion of investment fund distribution channels. Earlier in his career, Radwan held positions at leading financial institutions, including EFG Hermes Holding, HC Securities & Investment, Arab Finance, and Arab Bank. He eventually served as Managing Director of The Egyptian Fund Management Group (EFMG), further strengthening his expertise across regional capital markets and financial services. Radwan is a CFA charter holder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification. His academic and professional development also includes a postgraduate diploma in Digital Transformation from ESLSCA Business School in France and a FinTech program from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
