Ani Makaryan
Ani Makaryan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Central Depository of Armenia, a position she assumed on October 8, 2024. Before that, she held the role of General Counsel and was a member of the Management Board at Armenia Securities Exchange, where she was actively involved in key projects supporting the growth and modernization of Armenia’s capital market infrastructure.
She has over 15 years of experience at the Central Bank of Armenia, where she headed the Legal Support to Financial Supervision Division within the Legal Department. In that capacity, she handled legal matters related to oversight and compliance, working closely with various financial institutions and government authorities.
A licensed advocate and a member of the Chamber of Advocates since 2009, Ani has also taught at the French University in Armenia since 2014.
She holds a master’s degree in law from Yerevan State University.
